Terms of use
Last updated: 8 August 2026
1. What you agree to
By using Veya, you accept these terms. If you disagree, do not use the app — and if you already installed it, you can delete your account in three taps.
2. Who can use Veya
Veya is for people aged 16 and over.
3. What Veya is — and is not
Veya helps you keep your daily rituals and be held by the people close to you. It is a wellbeing and organisation app.
Veya is not a medical device and does not replace health advice. It provides no diagnosis, no recommendation, no dosage, and must never be used as a critical system on which someone’s safety depends.
Reminders depend on your phone and on networks we do not control. A notification may be delayed, or may never arrive — because the phone is off, in battery saving mode, without network, or because notifications were denied. Never make Veya responsible for something that cannot wait.
4. Your account
Your account is created when you choose to begin. By default it is anonymous and lives on this phone: if you lose it without having attached your account to Google or Apple, there is no way to recover it — for you or for us.
You are responsible for access to your phone and your account.
5. The people close to you
A link is created by invitation and acceptance, on both sides. Either person can end it at any time; the other is then told.
By inviting someone, you accept that they can see the rituals you attach them to. You choose which ones, one by one.
Veya exists so people can look after one another. Using it to monitor someone against their will goes against the spirit of the app, and against these terms.
6. Free and Premium
Veya is free to use, with limits: two active rituals, one person close to you, and thirty days of history to browse.
Premium lifts those limits. Subscriptions are purchased and paid through the App Store or Google Play, never directly with us. The prices shown at the time of purchase apply.
A subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Cancellation happens in your App Store or Google Play account settings — we have no control over it. Refund requests are likewise handled by Apple or Google, under their own rules.
If you return to the free tier, nothing is erased: your rituals and your history stay on your phone, and become fully browsable again if you take Premium later.
7. What is not allowed
- using Veya to harm someone, monitor them without their knowledge, or harass them;
- attempting to access another account’s data;
- disrupting the service or circumventing it by automated means;
- using Veya for professional monitoring of people.
8. Availability
Veya is built by one person. We do our best to keep the service available, but it may be interrupted for maintenance, incidents, or changes. We may change features, and remove some.
9. Liability
Veya is provided as is. To the extent permitted by law, we cannot be held liable for a missed ritual, a notification that did not arrive, an alert someone close did not receive, or data lost with a phone.
Nothing here removes the rights French law grants to consumers.
10. Ownership
The Veya name, its visual identity and its code belong to Hyminix Studio. What you write in the app — your ritual names, your steps — belongs to you. We claim nothing over it and use it for nothing other than running the service for you.
11. Ending
You can leave whenever you want, from the app (see the deletion page). We may close an account that seriously breaches these terms, after telling you when possible.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by French law. In case of dispute, an amicable solution will be sought first; failing that, the French courts have jurisdiction.
13. Publisher
Veya is published by ARRIGHI Yannick Romain, sole trader operating as Hyminix Studio, Nice, France.
